B + A | Meldrim Point Wedding & Marymere Falls Portraits | Olympic Peninsula Wedding Photographer

Some wedding days feel quiet, grounded, and completely connected to nature — B and A’s day was exactly that.

Tucked into the incredible landscapes of the Olympic Peninsula, their celebration felt less like a production and more like an experience. The kind where the forest is your cathedral, the lake is your backdrop, and every moment feels intimate and real- a true PNW forest wedding.

Their ceremony began surrounded by towering evergreens and soft spring greens that seem to only exist in the Pacific Northwest. At Meldrim Point, B and A stood together for their ceremony with the calm water stretching behind them and the forest wrapping around the shoreline. It was peaceful, emotional, and beautifully simple — the kind of setting that reminds you how powerful a quiet moment can be.

After exchanging vows, we wandered deeper into the forest for portraits. Moss-covered logs, ferns stretching toward the trail, and towering trees created a dreamlike path where B and A walked hand in hand, completely in their element. The stillness of the woods paired perfectly with the joy they carried all day.

One of the most memorable stops was Marymere Falls. The rushing waterfall, bright moss-covered rock, and wooden overlook created a scene that felt almost cinematic. Standing together above the falls, B and A looked completely at home in the wild beauty surrounding them.

Later, along the lake, they stepped out onto the dock where the mountains rose in the distance and the water reflected the soft overcast sky. It was one of those moments that felt timeless — just the two of them, the quiet lake, and the feeling that this day would stay with them forever.

B and A’s wedding was a perfect reflection of what makes Pacific Northwest weddings so special: natural beauty, meaningful moments, and a deep sense of calm that lets the couple truly soak in every second.

Days like this are a reminder that sometimes the most beautiful celebrations are the ones that let the landscape, the love, and the quiet moments lead the way.
